| This circular walk takes about 2 hours and begins
in the old part of the town in the Puerta de los Molinos, from where
you take the steps down towards the bottom of the Tajo Gorge. |
|
| This is the view looking back towards Ronda from about
half way down the path. |
 |
| About two thirds of the way down, you
can look back to the new bridge. Sorry if this picture took a while
to load but it's hard to do it justice with a smaller picture. |
|
|
| At the bottom of the gorge you can dip
your toes in the Rio GuadalevĂn and marvel that such small
stream could have cut such a deep gorge. You can also see the olive
and almond groves that surround the town. |
|
 |
| The climb back to the town takes you past
some of the original defenses which are now being restored. The walk
finishes in the area of town next to the Arab Baths which are also
worth seeing. |
